Water Management Plans

Water Management PlansWaterborne pathogens and Legionella pose significant risk to the general population as water distribution systems become more complex. Duty of responsible care dictates that you be held responsible for an outbreak that occurs at your facility, so more and more building owners and facilities are creating and implementing water management plans (WMP). A WMP can help reduce the risk of disease, reduce legal risk, and complies with CMS (Centers for Medicare & Medicaid) and ASHRAE (The American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers) Standard 188. New York and many European countries have already implemented laws that require building owners have a WMP in place which has led to other organizations to proactively put a plan in place.

Water management plans can be an overwhelming project to undertake depending on the size and complexity of water systems in a building. CE Water can help reduce the stress of creating a WMP by offering all the resources necessary to create a plan.
